作品描绘《潞河督运图》，画面记述了清代漕运的壮观场面，运河上漕艘挽运，千帆争渡，一派繁忙场景。近景是由一艘漕运船只和两座通州运河上的桥组成的，左边的是通州八里桥，右边的是通州运通桥，中间航行的是一艘漕运沙船，船只采用悬挑支撑，乘风而行，仿佛是从画中脱颖而出。作品展示了京杭大运河生生不息的顽强生命力。

　　

The work is a reproduction of a famous painting, Transportation Supervision on Lu River, which depicts the grand scene of water transport in the Qing Dynasty. On the canal, thousands of vessels are busy transporting goods to and fro. The close-up view is composed of a ship and two bridges on the Tongzhou canal. On the left is the Tongzhou Bali Bridge, on the right is the Tongzhou Yuntong Bridge, and sailing in the middle is a ship transporting sand. Supported by a cantilever design, the ship is sailing in the wind, as if it were moving out of the picture. The work shows the endless vigor of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.
