《四时花间》

取意于北京四季常见的花卉植物，以及与花鸟意趣相关的器物雅玩，将花喻人。画中处处无人，处处有人，洋溢着生活的韵味与诗意。作品中选用四句广为人知的古诗来点题。“春眠不觉晓”（孟浩然）——春、“雨过浮萍合”（苏轼）——夏、“采菊东篱下”（陶渊明）——秋、“晚来天欲雪”（白居易）——冬。

　　

Flowers and plants of the four seasons in Beijing as well as related objects are depicted, showing people’s love of life as expressed by four ancient Chinese poets.
