《千字文》

南朝梁武帝时期，员外散骑侍郎周兴嗣奉皇命从王羲之书法中选取1000个字，编纂成文,是为中国历史上第一篇《千字文》。《千字文》问世1400多年，文笔优美，辞藻华丽，是流传广泛的儿童读物，是一篇承上启下的作品，是中国传统文化的一个组成部分。千字文书法镌刻采用楷体书写，端庄秀美。

　　

During the reign of Emperor Wu in the Southern Liang Dynasty, Zhou Xingsi, the vice minister, was commissioned by Emperor Wu to select 1,000 characters from Wang Xizhi’s calligraphy for compiling into a manuscript, which is considered as the first article of Thousand Character Classic. Since its publication over 1,400 years ago, Thousand Character Classic has become a widely circulated children’s book due to its beautiful writing style and splendid rhetoric. This book as an integral part of Chinese traditional culture connects the past with the present of Chinese culture. Engraved with regular script, this work shows elegance and beauty.
